Mental health recovery, reimagined as education
SOAR exists to support people in recovery, caregivers, and anyone curious to learn more about mental health. As a Recovery College, we run courses that hold space for honest conversations about mental health, co-created with lived experience at the centre.

What is a Recovery College?
A Recovery College is a place where people learn about mental health, recovery, and wellbeing through shared conversations. At SOAR, our courses are co-produced by professionals, people with lived experience and caregivers, because everyone has something to learn and teach.

Let us walk beside you in your mental health journey
We offer courses that help people learn more about mental health, recovery, and wellbeing — while holding space for them to reflect on their own journeys. Designed for people in recovery, caregivers, and anyone curious to learn more about mental health.

Stories from our community
Recovery looks different for everyone. These are stories from people in and around the SOAR community, shared to remind us that mental health struggles are often carried quietly. When brought into the open, they become something we can all learn from.
Our journey so far
SOAR began as a small experiment in 2018, and since then, the work has grown. Here's what happens when lived experience leads the way.
