Co-production is at the heart of SOAR

If you have lived experience, caregiver wisdom, professional knowledge, or community insight that could help shape learnings around mental health, we would love to explore what we might build together.

Calling for volunteer facilitators

SOAR's volunteer facilitators help make recovery through learning possible. We are looking for people who are thoughtful, reliable, comfortable holding space for difficult conversations, and aligned with the heart of the work.

Everyone can play a part in the recovery journey

We work with partners across community, mental health, youth, and workplaces to make recovery conversations more accessible. We'd love to hear from you if you resonate with the work that we do.

House our first Recovery College satellite campus

We’re looking for a space to call home.

SOAR is hoping to establish our first physical satellite campus — a welcoming hub for a Recovery College. We imagine a place with room for a few classroom-sized spaces, a cosy common area, and a small library where people can learn, connect, and grow together.

If you have a space that could house this vision, we’d love to hear from you.

Co-host a workshop

If there is a mental health topic your community is ready to explore, we can work with you to shape and co-host a workshop.

We bring facilitation, structure, and a recovery-oriented approach. You bring community, context and heart for the people you serve.

Help us keep the work going

Your donation helps us keep creating learning spaces where people can explore mental health, recovery and wellbeing with care.

What your support makes possible

SOAR is a young non-profit, and your contribution will go towards sustaining the everyday work of the Recovery College and the quiet infrastructure behind it.

This allows us to continue developing courses and workshops that bring together lived experience, caregiver wisdom, and professional knowledge — so that recovery-oriented learning can be more accessible to the community.

A note on tax deductibility

While we are a registered non-profit, SOAR is not yet an Institution of a Public Character (IPC). This means that donations to SOAR are currently not eligible for tax deduction.

Not sure where you fit yet?

That’s okay. Tell us a little about yourself, your organisation, or the idea you have in mind — and we’ll explore the possibilities together.
