Co-production
We believe that lived experience and professional expertise hold equal power.
What does co-production means?
Co-production means that every workshop SOAR creates is built in collaboration between mental health professionals, people in recovery from mental health conditions, and their family members.
Not consulted, not invited to share their stories after the fact, but genuinely in the room from the beginning — shaping what gets taught, how it gets taught, and what it means.

Why co-production?
In co-production, we believe that lived experience and professional expertise hold equal power. The people who use a service often understand it best, and their ideas can shape something far more meaningful than what any professional could create alone.
Co-production is also an invitation to reflect on how your experiences with mental health shaped who you are today. These reflections hold value not just for the programme that we’re building together but also for our individual journeys with mental health.
What will we be doing
